Utility Billing

The City has an Alert system managed from its website (gjcity.org), which allows staff to quickly send email or text notices about changes to water clarity or outages. To sign up to receive Alerts, go to the NotifyMe webpage.

Drive-up drop box located on 5th Street, in front of the Alpine Bank Building. 

Drive-up/Walk-up on the east side of the building at 910 Main Street (Northeast corner of 9th and Main Street).

When using drop boxes you need an envelope, but no postage is required. Make checks payable to the City of Grand Junction. No cash payments in drop boxes, please! On-time payments in drop boxes only.

Payment Arrangements

We are happy to make payment arrangements with the owner of the property. Because the owner is ultimately responsible for any unpaid utility charges, we are unable to make arrangements with a renter unless authorized by the landlord or property management company. Please call 970-244-1579.
