Two Arrested for Theft

Grand Junction, CO- On December 25, 2025, at approximately 3:05 a.m., officers with the Grand Junction Police Department responded to Tractor Supply, located at 2449 Highway 6 and 50, for a burglary alarm. Upon arrival, officers discovered someone had stolen multiple items from the business.

On December 26, 2025, at approximately 4:30 a.m., officers responded to Tractor Supply for another burglary alarm where they discovered further merchandise taken.

Through the course of the investigation, officers identified the suspects as 31-year-old Maisie Meryhew and 34-year-old Christopher Goure. When officers attempted to contact Meryhew and Goure, they fled on foot.

They were arrested without further incident and booked into the Mesa County Detention Center on multiple outstanding warrants and the following charges:

  • Theft
  • Criminal Mischief
  • Obstructing a Peace Officer

The Grand Junction Police Department believes this to be an isolated incident with no ongoing danger to the community. This case remains under investigation, and there is no additional information available at this time.
