Held on the first Wednesday of each month from 8:30–10:30 a.m., Coffee with a Cop rotates through various locations across campus. This informal event gives students the chance to connect with their campus police officers, ask questions, and learn more about campus safety. By encouraging open conversations, Coffee with a Cop helps strengthen relationships, build trust, and support a safer campus community.

The Grand Junction Police Department invites community members to connect with officers in a relaxed, friendly setting at Coffee with a Cop.
There’s no agenda and no speeches, just genuine conversation over a cup of coffee. These informal events are designed to break down barriers, strengthen relationships, and foster a safer, more connected community. Whether you have questions, want to share a concern, or simply want to say hello, Coffee with a Cop is an open and welcoming space to engage with the officers who serve Grand Junction.
