2025 Santa Cause Run

Parks and Recreation is teaming with Kiwanis for the 10th annual Santa Cause Run, an event that aims to help fund inclusive playground equipment. With projects already completed, such as the wheelchair-accessible swing at Canyon View Park, proceeds from this event will allow us to further provide inclusive accommodations for our community. Join us for a 5k that is in the spirit of the season!

Award Divisions

Since this race is not just about speed, but also participation, there will be lots of prize giveaways!

• Age Group Awards (1st place): 12 and under, 13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and up
• *Mr. & Mrs. Claus: The fastest combined 5K time for a male and female
• *Santa and His Little Helper: Fastest combined 5K time for a runner 18 and over and a runner under 18
• * Grinch and Max: Fastest 5K time for a runner and their dog

*Let us know when you sign up if you'd like to compete in these divisions!  There are no extra registration fees to participate in these divisions, but there are extra prizes!
